Casa Maya Ka'an

Sian Kaan provides top-notch salt water fishing for permit, tarpon, and bonefish. Surrounded by mangroves, its protected natural splendor allows one to see species like the Frigate, Roseate Spoonbill, and Tri-colored Heron in their native environments. It is simple to arrange for kayaking, fishing, or float trips at an extra cost.

A short drive away are the Mayan Ruins of Coba and Tulum.This tastefully updated 3,875-square-foot home features four roomy, air-conditioned bedrooms, three private bathrooms, and a guest bathroom. The owners have equipped it with traditional timbers and Oaxacan fabrics, paying attention to elegant details and cozy family living. It has every contemporary convenience, such as internet access, XBox 360, Wii, DVD player, Sky TV, and a modest library of movies. The chef's kitchen was made for small family gatherings. The chef-designed kitchen was made for both large-scale social and special occasions and small family get-togethers. The downstairs has a large open floor plan with a living area which includes two queen sleeper sofas, TV area with a wide screen TV ideal for gathering, a grand dining room which seats 18 – 20. The kitchen has all top appliances including a Viking stove, double ovens, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, etc. A long zapote wooden bar between the kitchen and dining room provides a serving area as well as additional seating. There is one bedroom downstairs with a double bed and full private bathroom.

The upstairs has 3 master bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and a large sitting area, with a built in sofa that can be made into a single bed for an added guest. There is a wide screen TV in the sitting area that can rotate to the bed area as well. The built in desk sits beneath a great window which provides a fabulous view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The master bathroom has a round Japanese soaking tub as well as a walk in rain shower. The vanity area has a long counter with 2 sinks and sits beneath a window framing the ocean.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 have 2 queen beds each as well as 2 built in beds dressed as large sofas for additional sleeping. Each bedroom has a private shower and vanity area with 2 sinks each. The toilet is shared between the 2 bedrooms. You can sleep up to 6 people in each bedroom plus 3 in the master.
